personality
oh jake. where to start with jake?
well for beginners, he is pretty vain and full of himself. his confidence is at its fullest and he thinks so highly of himself that it can be annoying unless you are used to it with the many other city dogs like him.
however, even with the vain act of his, jake can often get females swooning over him. i mean, what do you expect from such a good looking male dog that is full of confidence? especially with that flirty part of him? yes, jake is also a total flirt. he goes out of way to flirt and hit on any female that he friends to be gorgeous or beautiful, even if he finds himself better looking.
even with the vain and flirty part of him, jake can be a gentleman to a female, but that is only if he really likes her. even if she doesn't like him. yes i have to admit, jake is not the most like-able dog around... so don't worry he has just as more enemies as friends; if not more actually.
jake however, is not bothered by the dogs that don't like him, they don't really bother him. besides, he knows how to fight and protect himself and others anyways. either way, he can be quite love-able.
appearance
jake is a HUGE dog. not at his full size of the wolf hound, but almost there, the other two breeds in him bringing his size back down a bit.
his coat is more wiry than smooth or fluffy, however it is soft to the touch. the fur is a medium length, hiding his coat but not to where it is long and matted. the base colour is white and brown marks around his left eye, a little above his right eye, both ears, back, and a few other areas, the sizes of the spots varying.
his eyes are a brownish green colour with a dull sheet over them, making the eyes seem dimmer. his ears stand up erectly and his broad chest shows the power in him. his tail hang down to his hind legs and his nose is brown. finally, his tongue is salmon.
history
jake was born into this city, however he has not lived here his entire life. his mother and siblings stayed here until he was one, when his father returned to the city. his mother, worried and not wanting them to be with the male that had gotten her pregnant retreated with the pups that were hers.
the four left the city, not planning to come back. when they reached the new little town that they were to live in, one of jake's siblings went crazy. another of his siblings left with a male, leaving just him as reliable for his mother. however, after his mother became a little harsh with him, jake decided to leave and go somewhere else.
even though life was going great for him in this new town, he just didn't want to stick with his mother. plus, if he still had friends back in his old town, it could be just as great if not better. with a heavy heart, he left back for the city he had once lived in several months before. a few days later, and jake was back where he was born.
so now, here he is. a vain, yet lady's guy, back in a city filling up with dogs just like the seven deadly sins, and where he probably will join those hounds sooner or later.
[From Fetch!]
Today was her first day in Lake Miniwahwah, actually in it. She had been through most of the city by now and had seen many dogs that hadn't spotted her. Finally she decided to stop and take a break before she finished going through the city. Hopefully she could keep to herself until she was done exploring, that way she wouldn't get distracted. Sure, she loved attention and there would be nothing better than playing with another dog on this day. It was finally spring as she had spent winter out of town, learning how to survive here. She knew how to fight, how to defend herself, how to steal and how to escape others.
Basically she knew everything she needed for now. This season she was nine months old, soon to be ten. So far he life had gone by quite slowly, but since she got away from the mill... well everything seemed to be racing past. Now she was finally here, on her own and she was going to make friends and learn the ways of living.
She was so excited, so happy to be away from there. However, she did wonder what happened to her mother, father, and siblings. She hoped that maybe one or two of the siblings would end up here and she could meet them, but who knows, maybe she would never see any of them again. Either way, she was now here, not back there. Shaking the thoughts of the puppy mill from he head, she looked around and then toward the gate.
Inside there was a pool and some shade. That would be wonderful for a break, probably one of the best places she could stop. First she walked up real close to the gate and looked through. There were no humans, it was just the water and the few trees and buildings for shade outside. There also appeared to be another pool inside.
She really didn't care why there were no people there, she just wanted to get inside. Looking for an open gate or anything of the sort, the pup moved down the gate. She was quite big and even though she was smiling, she didn't look the nicest. That was mostly because of her Tosa Inu blood lines. They were a breed of mastiff and never looked very kind.
After a few minutes of walking down the gate, she spotted a small hole going under the fence. She could easily fit through... Looking around and then trotting over to the hole, she slipped under, her paws pulling and pushing as it only took a matter of seconds to get completely through.
Now that she stood on the other side, everything looked better. The pool had a green tint to it, mainly from not having proper care, but it was still better than the water that she had ended up drinking so many times before. Back in the puppy mill, you couldn't even tell it was water and most of the time after that it was brown. This was a step up, but she knew that from now on she would be getting good water from the lake and other areas.
She sat down and gazed about as she first looked toward the pool house that had the indoor pool and then toward the shade around. Finally, her brown eyes looked at the pool that had the somewhat green water. The one indoor was still a blue, mostly from being inside. Some shade went over the outside pool, due mostly to the pool house.
Trotting over to one of the few trees that were still alive, the Tosa looked around. Sitting down under the shade and then looking around once more, her salmon coloured tongue lolled gently from the right side of her muzzle. Her white tipped paws shifted and then she stretched out into a lying position. After a few moments of that, she became bored and looked around.
Her choices appeared to be dig a hole or get into the water. She had done enough digging, so maybe swimming could be fun. The Tosa had never been swimming before and it sounded like fun, a lot of fun; I mean it couldn't be that hard, right? Looking around again and then standing, she stretched out carefully.
Walking toward the water, she carefully walked down the steps the humans had made, allowing the cool, yet warm water lap up against her brown fur. Her tail wagged a little and soon she was kicking off from the last step. Sinking in, she pushed herself up. Gasping for air, she felt for the step once more. Well, maybe swimming was harder than she had thought...
