It was night, as such no children were playing in the playground, it was also late enough so that even the worse class of teenagers had packed up and gone home, in short for a dog like Anya it was perfect. Looking around cautiously she slipped out of the bushes and set off along the path glancing around for any food left by errant mothers hurrying their children along, yes she could hunt... but Anya didn't want to leave here tonight, the longest scar on her leg had been acting up again and one rant of her mother that Anya had taken to heart was that if anything caused significant pain hunting in the dark, in the country was not recommended. Finally finding a ham sandwich Anya gulped it down and then on impulse looked at the sky, it was a dark cloudy night. Anya shrugged off a slightly uneasy feeling which she was sure was now a part of her personality and moved cautiously on with the search trying to keep to the sides of the paths.

Stella's old copper blond body slipped through the empty, still and dead looking slides, swings and climbing frames. She lowered her head as she scooped under a swing to avoid it, as it blew slightly, making an eery creak sound. The darkness and the tranquility of the playground gave a creepy terrifying atmosphere to the place, not like the typical day time one.
Her mixed pink black colored nose quivered slightly at the scent of a sandwich and of another dog. Stella wagged her long tail and stuck out her tongue. With her eyes fixated on the sandwich, and the yummy taste of it, she neared the other dog with her tongue lolling out.
She knew well that the dog probably wouldn't give her any, and she knew she wouldn't in her position. After all, it was her food and she wanted to eat it all, but perhaps this dog was different, and Stella hoped that she wasn't one of those mean rabid dogs that just wanted to fight.

Gripping another found sandwich in her mouth Anya glanced sideways and seeing a dog in the corner of her vision let out a muffled yelp and jumped backwards dropping to sandwich. "Err... hello" she breathed quickly recovering from her shock as she looked at the new arrival "sorry if I shocked you... its just that you startled me."
Anya breathed in deeply and then smiled politely at the new arrival cursing herself for allowing herself to be shocked, at least she hoped this female wouldn't mock her or laugh at her for their meeting. Anya hated being laughed at, especially when she deserved it. Her mothers words had sunk in far too deep and Anya despite otherwise being a fairly nice dog could sometimes be rather prideful and hated to be made to look stupid in any way, not a big fault but a slight one anyway.

(lols i'm at school lol)
Stella smiled at the other dogs reaction. It wasn't very often that you met a dog who got immediatly startled. Though after her initial feeling of being startled and running off slightly she walked up closer to the other dog, lightly sniffing at the smell of the sandwhiches.
She lowered her lolling ears and stuck her tongue out, letting that loll too. Her face was friendly and though the evening was calm her heart was beating excitedly. "No worries, I am Stella. I didn't mean to startle you, Sorry." SHe spoke with a soft friendly voice. She had nothign else in mind than the sandwhich and perhaps making another friend.

(^^)
Anya blinked at the dog for a moment and then smiled again. "Anya" she introduced herself dipping her head slightly in greeting to the dog pleased that she wouldn't have to fight this one. "Uhh... you can have the sandwich if you want" Anya offered sitting and smiling in a pleased way.
Anya liked making friends, but she didn't make them easily. She was seen as a strange dog, always quiet hardly ever raising her voice to anybody. Perhaps it was the mild front which made bigger dogs think of attacking her, but Anya inside was still a warrior no matter how much she detested it and she could defend herself if needs be, thank heavens she would not need it here.

Stella's long shaggy tail wagged happily. Her stomach groaned slightly and she looked at the sandwich with starved eyes. ... you can have the sandwich if you want that was all Stella wanted to hear in that instant and she glomped down the sandwich making it disappear in two seconds. She then sat down and examined Anya.
"Thanks Anya. So what brings you around here?" She smiled warmly at her then yawned letting out a high pitched squeak noise. "I was almost scared that you wanted to attack me, at first. But now I'm so very glad you don't want to." She grinned at the Anatolian Shepard, and in doing so she wondered if she'd ever actually met one before. Sure she'd met her deal of dogs, much like any other vagabond stray, but she doubted there were many Anatolians around here.
